The eleven churches of the Presbytery of Northern Illinois have established a vision to plant new churches throughout northern and central Illinois. More than 2.7 million people live within the PNI bounds, and one million have no religious affiliation. Because the number of churches and organizations seeking to plant a church in the United States exceeds the number of trained and available planters, PNI has set out to home-grow indigenous church planters and raise money internally to accomplish this vision. We are currently evaluating new planters and sites.
